Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Billing

Messagesuite is billed directly through your Shopify account. All charges will appear on your regular Shopify invoice under "App Charges."

  • Recurring Charges: Billed every 30 days based on your chosen plan.
  • Usage Charges: Message credits (e.g., WhatsApp conversations) beyond your plan limits are billed as usage charges at the end of the billing cycle.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by simply uninstalling the Messagesuite app from your Shopify store.

  • Effect of Cancellation: Once uninstalled, all future recurring charges will stop immediately.
  • Outstanding Usage: Any unbilled usage charges (e.g., sent messages) accrued up to the point of cancellation will be billed on your next Shopify invoice.
  • Data Retention: Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless legally required otherwise.

3. Refund Policy

As a digital service provider with significant operational costs for messaging (e.g., WhatsApp/SMS fees), we generally do not offer refunds for partial months or unused credits.

However, we understand exceptional circumstances may arise. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis:

  • Technical Issues: If the app failed to function as described and our support team could not resolve the issue within 48 hours.
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error.
  • Accidental Upgrade: If you accidentally upgraded and contacted us within 24 hours of the charge, without using the higher-tier features.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team within 7 days of the charge date. Include your Shopify store URL and the specific charge ID if available.

Note: Since billing is handled by Shopify, approved refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement as a credit.
